  • Holy Trinity Catholic School News

Holy Trinity is committed to the safety and well-being of all our students, teachers, and staff members. We work hard to promote a safe school environment. We consistently review our safety protocols with York County Emergency Management and local law enforcement officers, and we also conduct regular training for our teachers and staff to respond to medical emergencies that may arise with any of the children in our care.

Last school year, we applied for and received a PCCD (Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency) security grant that greatly boosted our on-campus security infrastructure with new exterior doors. We are community partners with the York City Police Department and the York City School District police officers who are directly across the street from St. Patrick’s Parish. Last year, the city implemented a brand-new security camera system in Penn Park in order to promote the neighborhood’s visibility and overall safety. We look forward to strengthening these relationships in order to continue providing a safe school environment for our students, teachers, and staff.

  • Pastor's Weekly Message

     Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Next week, we begin registration for our religious education program. Please be sure to follow the announcements and information in the bulletin. Registering in a timely fashion helps us to be prepared for the beginning of the school year! Speaking of which, it is not too late to take a tour and learn more about Holy Trinity Catholic School. We would love for you to visit and learn more about what our school has to offer.

Our parish benefits greatly from the generosity of its parishioners. And while we are all called to be generous in the support of our parish, that generosity can look different for each of us. I want to take a moment to recognize all of the volunteers who work (and work hard!) at our parish thrift shop. Every week, our volunteers come in, and spend hours each day sorting, cleaning, steaming, tagging, stocking, and working the cash register. Their hard work provides an incredible benefit to our local community, by offering quality, affordable clothing and other household items. And in doing so, they also support our parish. This year, our thrift store team, together with our Christmas Sale volunteers, have set a record. They raised over $100,000.00, which directly benefits the parish’s operating budget. Their hard work contributes to staff salaries, building maintenance and utilities, and all of the other various and sundry things that the parish needs. Thank you to all of you for supporting our parish.

In order to continue this great work, we are in need of more volunteers. If you are willing and able to contribute some time (even just an hour or two once a month), please contact the parish office. You can also speak to a volunteer or manager that you know. We count on the thrift store to help balance our budget, and I would be grateful for your consideration in supporting the shop.

    God bless you!
