  • Adult Education Series, "What We Believe" Fall 2026

When people hear the word "Catholic", the first thing that pops into their minds is a

church building. Others think of important moral issues on which the Church takes a

firm and generally unpopular position. For many, both Catholics and Non-Catholics

alike, the Catholic Church is seen as primarily an institution. The reality of the Church is far deeper and more intriguing. Come join us for the fall 2026 adult education series,

"What We Believe." We will outline who we are as Catholics, what we believe, and

how we live. This course will run for 8 consecutive weeks, with two weekly sessions available. There will be a Wednesday morning session, from 10 am to 11:30 am, beginning on Wednesday, September 16, and ending on Wednesday, November 4.

The Tuesday evening session, from 6-7:30pm, will begin on Tuesday, September 22, and ending on Tuesday, November 10. For the Tuesday night sessions only, you will

need to preregister by contacting the parish office. Come and join us for a journey into the heart of God in the company of a family that Jesus Christ called the Church.

  • Holy Trinity Catholic School News

We are excited to have begun the 2026-2027 school year! We welcome 22 new families to Holy Trinity, including children beginning school in PreK or Kindergarten and children transferring into our older grade levels. These families are looking for Catholic faith formation, a safe environment, personalized support in the classroom, and high academic

    expectations.

We very much look forward to what this year holds in store for us. We’re launching a Business Partnership Program for community organizations who would like to identify different ways to sponsor our events (such as our upcoming Mardi Gras Gala in February) and to give through tax credit scholarship programs. All children eat breakfast and lunch for free this year through the federal government’s Community Eligible Provision (through the NSLP), and we will take part in a Literacy Initiative that encourages all to cultivate a joy of reading. On top of all that, there’s a brand-new HVAC system in St. Patrick’s Church that we will enjoy for school Masses! Please pray for our students, families, and teachers as we begin a new year.

  • Youth Mass Volunteers Needed

Calling All Youth: Join Us for Youth Mass!

We are excited to invite our children and teens to take an active role in our upcoming Youth Mass on September 13th at 9:00 AM.

This is a wonderful opportunity for the younger members of our community to lead, serve, and share their unique gifts with the parish.

We are looking for volunteers to assist in many different areas. Whether your child is interested in greeting, reading, or helping behind the scenes, there is a place for them to shine! Teens are especially encouraged to participate and take on leadership roles.

Please take a moment to review the age requirements for each position when choosing a role for your child. Your involvement helps make our liturgy vibrant and inspiring.

"Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity."

    — 1 Timothy 4:12

  • Capital Campaign Dollars at Work

We are working on the installation of lights in the front of the church to brighten the front steps on darker months as well illuminate the facade of the church.  This process takes time and patience because we are working both with the city and our volunteer, Joe Lawler, to get them installed properly and to code.

From the Pastor's Desk

  • Pastor's Weekly Message

    Dear Brothers and Sisters,

It is hard to believe that this is the last full week of August! On Saturday, August 29, we have the annual Diocesan Hispanic Conference being held at the Diocesan Center in Harrisburg. For more information, or to register, you can visit the Diocesan website.

Please mark your calendars for our annual Forty Hours Devotions. On September 13-15, we will have Eucharistic Adoration in the church each day. Please consider signing up to spend some time adoring the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. The sign up sheet can be found in the atrium. This period of prayer is meant to serve as a renewal for the whole parish, so I hope that everyone can at least pop into the church to pray for a few minutes. We will conclude each evening with devotions and benediction, and I am pleased to welcome Fr. Timothy Marcoe as our guest homilist each night.

Also, if you have not yet done so, please be sure to register your children for our

religious education classes! All children in grades K-8 who do not attend a Catholic school should be registered to attend each Sunday starting September 13.

    God bless you!

    Fr. Kuchinski
