In accord with the Catholic understanding of the Sacraments, any unbaptized child 7 years of age (the age of reason) and older must be enrolled in the two-year sacramental preparation program through our parish religious education program.
During the first year of this two-year process, the students learn the main tenets and basic beliefs of the Catholic faith on an age-appropriate level. The second year focuses on the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist) as these students prepare to receive these Sacraments, most commonly celebrated at the Easter Vigil.
Please call Mrs. Marisa Starceski in the Religious Education Office at 717-846-6001 if you have any additional questions.
